Story

The story starts out with a Kokiri boy named Link. The Kokiri children usually have fairies of their own, however, this boy does not. But, one day a fairy finds him and serves as his guide to save the world of the Evil Ganondorf.

Link is summoned by the Great Deku tree, leader of the forest and is sent on his journey to defeat Ganondorf and save the land of Hyrule from evil. To do this Link must travel through time with the use of the Master Sword collecting 3 Spiritual Stones and awakening the 5 Sages.

Gameplay

The Ocarina of Time is an Action/Adventure game that contains elements of RPGs and Puzzles. Link is controlled by the player in a 3rd person view. The player is able to explore the land, beating enemies/dungeons and collections weapons and items throughout the game.

The game created the use of Z-targeting, making it easier to attack a specific enemy. The player is able to partake in sidequests and mini games as these tasks will give the player things like new/better items.

Legacy

Many critics of the game cite this game as the greatest game of all time. Elements of this game inspired many new games and revolutionized many gaming standards that are still utilized today. Many people still embrace the game today.
